Normally when we are away from home, we enjoy stopping into an old diner for comfort food. We asked for milkshakes "extra thick" as advertised on the menu. When I told the waiter they were watery he became defensive "I put extra ice cream." The shakes tasted like flavored ice milk. Pulled pork was flavorful. French fries lackluster. Fried chicken breast dry. My son enjoyed his burger. We won't be returning.

I was very happy with this restaurant. I saw it when driving in and thought it looked cool. It was what I thought it would be. It was kind of old school and thatΓ’β¬β’s what I was hoping for. I got the burger of champions. Fried egg on top. It was tasty and not too big. Had it with a classic martini. This is the place to do that if there is one. It wasnΓ’β¬β’t too crowded on a Saturday night. I came in from NJ to visit someone and so IΓ’β¬β’m glad it didnΓ’β¬β’t disappoint. IΓ’β¬β’m coming back here. It wasnΓ’β¬β’t loud in the bar area either.

Havent been here since the 90s and was great spot back then. Great upgrade and renovation to location. Food is still as great. Same owners. So always a plus to see familiar faces. Will continue to be a loyal patron.

Great food, great staff and great prices create a experience. The bar is in a separate section from the main eating area which is a plus because its quieter. The quesadilla is amazing with guacamole.

My daughter took me there for the first time and it'll be my last. Food looked good but my daughter caught a bad stomach pain and I literally force myself to eat have of my food. The pickles smell and tasted like bad perfume and my wrap was dry and tasteless. My granddaughter's order had to to be returned since it was the wrong order. A real mess. Never again!

Whenever I go to meetings in the area, this diner is my go to for breakfast without question. The price tag may look higher than you'd usually like for breakfast, but the quantity and customer service is well worth it. The staff is always polite and considerate of the fact that I'm usually working as I eat (so they always quietly ask if I want coffee refills, or just do it automatically out of kindness). Management has always been nice, and although I only go here once every few months, they acknowledge me as a regular. I can't speak much for lunch since I've never had it here. However, if you like awesome breakfasts every now and then and are in the area, I recommend going here.

Cause of work I've had to go here on occasion for breakfast. Nothing special or to write home about. Regular dinner food and what you'd expect. Pricey cause of the area, you could easily walk around other places to get a bite but same issue cause of the area is why food can be higher priced.

I only ate here once and had this buttermilk, crispy chicken sandwich. My review is based solely on that one time experience and that sandwich... The chicken sandwich was so good and it definitely hit the spot, but about an hour after leaving, my boyfriend and I experienced the worst stomach pains ever!! Shortly afterwards, we found ourselves fighting for the restroom. Yikes! I donΓ’β¬β’t think it was food poisoning because we were fine the next day, but something was definitely off with this sandwich. We hadnΓ’β¬β’t eaten since lunch time and that was our dinner. One star for the good service we received and for the fact that we did enjoy the sandwiches while we were eating them. Lol I certainly wonΓ’β¬β’t be back though.

Came in quickly and ordered food to go with a large group. The main server at the to go area was awesome! She was witty and fast paced. The breakfast sandwiches we ordered were great! And in my opinion the bread roll was the best option. The homemade hot bbq sauce was a delicious addition! I wish I had grabbed some extra for later

It's one of my favorite places to go for breakfast. I have been eating here since I was a little girl now I take my children. I love all the new upgrades. It's also a great place to have a dinner party with a close friends.

Ordered delivery from a third party after midnight...not a single complaint. I ordered a very loaded omelette and was pleased they didnΓ’β¬β’t scorch it. Instead they just made a delicious scramble. Late night craving is satisfied.

Let's get one thing clear, it's a diner. If you go expecting diner quality, this place is great. In other words, if you are in the mood for some boxed pasta with big meatballs for a good price, come here. If you are craving good quality fresh pasta, go over to Noodle Pudding.My husband and I come often b/c of the relaxed ambiance. We sit for as long as we want and have the big booths to ourselves. If you can appreciate it for what it is, I'm sure you will find it as great as I think it is.

The way we were treated we froze the the whole time there Management did not care his response I don't know what else I can do and as he walked away he made I don't give a dam face! I had a chicken and rice soup me and another lady did not finish it was the worst soup I have ever tasted! I was going to bring some of my friends NEVER WILL I! I will tell them what happened!

Probably more like 4.5 stars. Cannot recall how long I have been going to this restaurant, maybe late '80's or early '90's. 1. Good accessible location. 2. Not sure about now with the added bar but they used to easily handle small groups without reservations. 3. You can easily modify menu items to suit. 4. I recall breakfast was available 24 hours, have not requested recently.

This is the best diner in Brooklyn Heights by far. They are very accomodative of children and they make sure to say hi to regulars. The restaurant has a lot of floor space so the tables aren't all squeezed together. When our kids were babies they would let us roll the stroller up to the table. Try the milkshakes!

Walked here from Brooklyn Marriott for Sunday brunch as we did not want to pay $30 per person for a crowded buffet. Park Plaza was exactly what we wanted - a nice, inviting NY diner - omelettes, waffles, oatmeal, etc. Hot, strong coffee was refilled frequently! We were 7 people and seated immediately at a round table. Really liked this place!

2.3.18 - A local favorite; the interior is higher end than other dinners, there are views of Cadman Plaza park; the menu is like any other diner, but they have fun names for their offerings.Free coffee refills; service can be a little slow (Or really slow).Opens as early as 7 AM.

Whenever I'm near downtown Brooklyn I get breakfast here. Classic diner but much better than average tasting dishes. Hidden gem! Not sure what's going on with the HVAC lately...cold today

I love the ambiance. Wait staff always friendly and very attentive. Been going here for years, food always fresh and tasty. My favorite dish of all time is the brisket hash with eggs over easy . The best brisket hash I've ever tasted. Great meeting place. I often see elected officials there too. I rate Park Plaza a 10.

I admire this place! They serve awesome dishes, their menu is large, The cook in that restaurant is a specialist, I like very much eating all their dishes. The food is always fresh and tasty, the service towards the visitors is efficient. I visit often this place and I not even once was unsatisfied. I recommend it with no hesitation.
